I think your best bet is to start with some of the (English language) lit on 1990s Eurodance (Nico Thom and Heiko Wandler have useful chapters, tho they're understandably focused on Germany and Italy) and Swedish pop (see Alf Björnberg's work on Sweden in Eurovision and check his bibliographies).

It's not just that Orbán losing inspires hope in other competitive-autocratic countries ruled by right-wing nationalist authoritarians. It's that his loss materially changes things in those other countries, because he's been operating as a headquarters and funding source...

I’m doing a very informal survey of how different American universities staff their special collections reading rooms. If you’re willing to answer a few questions, please DM me!

(You don’t need to work in the RR, you just need to know how the RR is run)

Two panel comic. Panel 1: a museum display of a megalodon jaw fossil, with some museum goers standing around it. There is a graphic on the information tablet next to the fossil, depicting the approximation of the megalodon’s full size compared to a human. Panel 2: “3.6 million years ago:” we see the true megalodon as it existed, a small shark with ludicrously large, juicy lips.
