Nigel Farage wants to build a British ICE. Keir Starmer may have handed him the tools Reform’s proposed "Deportation Command” would integrate NHS, police and financial data into a single surveillance database. Meanwhile, Palantir has signalled it won’t stand in their way, and campaigners say Labour’s new data law opens the door. By Rei T...

Four people die in Channel small-boat sinking At least 42 others rescued after incident in strong currents off coast of Boulogne

Four people dead. 42 more people who've survived but now have to live with the trauma and terror of a near-death boat sinking.

All completely avoidable.

Our Government chose this. They can chose differently. Safe routes save lives.

"We're sending hundreds of millions of pounds to France to fund the policing operation there, and this policing operation includes the snatching of life vests from people.

Since the ceasefire agreement on Oct. 10, 2025, the #GazaStrip is divided by a dangerous, ambiguous and ever-expanding “yellow line” controlled by the Israeli military. One side of the line is under Israeli military control pushing people of #Gaza into the remaining 42 per cent.

Under Starmer, recognised refugees can no longer reunite with their children.

Recognised refugees.

Denied the right to reunite with their children.

It’s diabolical. Worse than anything the Tories did. & no, the racists are not & never will be satisfied.

So yes, he’s hated.

The UK government signalling they may unblock arms sales to Israel is deeply troubling.

Let’s not be fooled by talk of “ceasefires” or “peace.” Israel’s genocide in Gaza has not stopped. Killings have continued. The illegal blockade remains as does the system of apartheid.

Two years ago today, Hind Rajab was killed by Israeli forces. She was five years old.

On 29th January 2024, Hind and her relatives were fired on by an Israeli tank when trying to flee to safety. Everyone in the vehicle was killed by the initial attack except Hind and her 15-year-old cousin, Layan.

The ICJ is yet to issue a ruling on South Africa’s allegation that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza. Amnesty, among others, has concluded genocide is taking place. The UK government, as a party to the Genocide Convention, is complicit in failing to do all it could to stop this genocide.

Human rights were built for hard times, not rewrites when it suits the Government.

Pushing to water down the European Convention on Human Rights on International Human Rights Day is a moral retreat, not a solution.

Text reads: "Cooper suggested the U.K.’s focus is on French police, rather than pushback powers for the U.K. Border Force. “You’re seeing those boats set off. Once they’re in the water, then the previous rules have meant that the French police have not been able to actually take action. We need that to happen. That’s been agreed in principle. We need to see that in force,” she said.

However, she declined to directly criticize the idea of pushback, which opponents argue could cause more migrants to drown in the Channel."

Deeply worrying to see the Foreign Secretary demand more "force" on our border, and support dangerous 'pushbacks' which make crossing attempts more deadly.

State violence on the border already costs lives. We need to stop the deaths, not incite more violence.
