A major problem with LLMs in scientific lit searches is that they are very bad at distinguishing high-quality research from low-quality research. LLMs almost certainly suffer from the same problem in journalism. I can't grasp how this could ever be trustworthy.

1) Hops are so strong that they mask a lot of imperfections that you'd be able to taste in other beer styles.

2) Hops grow *extremely* well in the Pacific Northwest so they're just kind of the local flavor out there.

The salary cap in NWSL keeps it competitive, but it's only able to be high quality because not enough European teams are pouring money into women's sides. My suspicion is that the combination of high skill and high competitiveness is pretty unstable long-term - hope I'm wrong though.

Humanity did that. Science did that. Publicly-funded research did that. Excellent universities did that. Diversity did that. International cooperation did that.
