Most social workers and teachers agreed that the law as it stands at the moment creates an ambiguity that undermines their work to safeguard children.
New polling from the @nspcc.bsky.social shows that 90% of social workers, 77% of healthcare professionals, 75% of teachers, and 51% of police think that the law should be changed to end the use of physical punishment against children.
