Its a "feature" always know when its working and how hard. 🤣 our's isn't too bad mostly because its behind a panel. If I wanted to make it quieter I would move the pump down into the engine room closer to the tank, or make a little enclosure to soundproof the pump a bit.

Fuel companies are totally an option, especially where its expensive to fill up. We almost did it in port Canaveral due to the cost, but by the time you schedule a truck to a dock, and find a dock that will let you its not worth it for <500 gal. Fuel barges are also a cool thing in some places.

Fueling up for the winter! We installed two diesel heaters for the boat (much cheaper and efficient than electric heat). Putting about 300 gallons of diesel in her to ride out the winter.

The TV is mounted with a wood frame that’s wedged/screwed into the floor/ceiling for stability in rough seas. Used to have a piano covering the bottom, but now that we sold it we needed to make it look like a nice mount. So Twitchy modeled and 3D printed our boat and we dreamed up this little thing

Are they all 512mb? You can sort out how much a GB weighs, or how many gigs per kilo you have there 🤣 outside of that only use case I can think of is those nifty CF based MCA cards, or SCSI things... maybe make a CF to SCSI array, or a IDE based CF raid array. Maybe an excuse to get an old DSLR?

I don't think I have ever heard CF cards being measured by weight before... that broke my brain for a second. 🤣
