Strongly disagree. If she was some politically unengaged nobody who knows nothing about queer issues then that could be assumed you be well intentioned. When it comes from someone leading an intensely political organisation with specific focus on queer issues? Don't make me laugh. She has no excuse.

through masculinising puberty and can't afford to undo the effects of that. I don't judge any sapphic person who isn't attracted to that just as I don't judge those who are (some lesbians who only date masc lesbians get judged as not "really" gay).

I'm a fellow sapphic trans woman and I get you. You can't help what you're attracted to, as long as you aren't dismissing people you would otherwise be attracted to for being trans I don't see internalised transphobia in it.

Seeing right wing extremists talk about their love for comics, Star Trek, etc. on Twitter in the last decade has really convinced me they willingly suspend all critical thinking whenever they consume media in order to keep their beliefs intact. The lack of media literacy on display is staggering.
