Our council does clothes collections, so may be worth checking whether Croydon does.
This image is a political illustration from the German newspaper Die Zeit depicting a confrontation between a Pope and a US President.
The artwork is titled "Pope Leo XIV" and portrays a tension-filled scene between the two figures.
Johnson literally put a KGB agent in the HoL, lied to Parliament, broke covid protocol constantly..
May transgressed appointment protocol too, with the appointment of Johnson as FM. Has anyone checked that? He then broke every security rule in the book.
Yeah but Starmer though
Fantastic!

So much good ‘stuff’ getting done under our Labour Government. Rarely acknowledged in our media. Share far and wide let’s do their job for them. These announcements are in last 24 hours!

If Trump didn’t see his own Christ-like portrait as blasphemous or sacrilegious, it’s time the Christian right comes to terms with the reality that the rest of us already know…
Donald Trump is not religious, no matter how much they keep pretending he is.
My 15-year-old son is really keen to do a creative writing course this summer, which is quite expensive for me, so every sale helps towards that at the moment! 🖊️
BOOM!
South Australia's power prices have plummeted as they near 100% renewables, proving to the world that relying on wind and solar with battery back-up is possible, more reliable and costs people less.
THIS is how we avoid the next oil crisis.

I think I’ve (erroneously, obv!) been put on several blocklists. It’s the only reason I can think of for being blocked by so many total strangers.

Ten announcements and achievements by our Labour Government pretty much ignored by UK media who find it impossible to tell us all the good news. Share far and wide.

#NoToPalantir - political leadership urgently needed.
"Tang attracted controversy when she agreed to be
“guest of honour” at dinner hosted by Global Counsel, founded by Lord Peter Mandelson, which counted Palantir as a client"

If walls could speak.
Ghost gable with brick tumbled verge (triangular sections), captured, like a fly in amber, in a later building, in Sandwich, Kent.
OK. This is incredibly cheeky of me but I want to get a general health check for Lucy before we move as he is very comfortable with our current vet. Any financial help would be very gratefully received. I guess it will cost £200 (including travel). I know I ask too much. xx
This is an actual post. This is not funny. This is beyond desperate. This is a deeply unwell man who doesn’t belong anywhere near the levers of power. Every member of his cabinet and Congress is complicit in not demanding his removal now.
We all know it’s true. Reputable statisticians agree it happened. There are lawsuits in Nevada & New York that continue to assert massive voter fraud. It’s just difficult for the story to get any traction on traitorous Legacy media...
In a blatant act of provocation yesterday, Sadiq Khan allowed Christians to perform the Passion of Jesus in Trafalgar Square - a disgraceful show of dominance by a religion from the middle east.
Our Dearest Military Members:
Every soldier takes the same oath as their commander.
They may fire generals for refusing to follow illegal orders but they can’t fire all of you.
You have an obligation to say no.
Love to each and every one of you.❤️
Palantir, the controversial U.S. company working with ICE and the Israeli military, has access to our private data via NHS databases. We need the Government to trigger the break clause on their contract NOW. 🚨Can you sign and share? act.38degrees.org.uk/act/trigger-...
Spent half an hour changing the church clock, then a volunteer burst into the church, horrified that they're an hour late for the service... And that's how we discovered the electronic box in the clock stops it overnight to make it accurate for daylight savings, and we just made it very very wrong.
Donald Trump is going to fix the elections in November.
He will win no matter how people vote.
What can you do?
Setup your own vote counting website, so you can register all your own votes and prove that he is cheating in real time.
Get on it.
Now that would be interesting...
Around Easter-tide, if you were to ask one of the older residents of Old Fox's village to show you a palm tree, they would take you down to the quiet water meadows, midst the swans and the marsh marigolds, and point to the long-wanded sallow trees, with their velvet buds of creamy yellow and sea-mew grey and palest rose. "Here it be!" they would say, and, with their pocket-knife, cut four or five branches for your parlour, and a slip or two for your church hat or buttonhole. For in the old days in that little corner of Dorsetshire, Palm Sunday was known as Sallow or Sally Sunday, sometimes Willow Sunday, and in every church and household there were placed vases of pussy-willow from the river-bank and woods, and every congregant carried them and processed with them, and that gentle, country plant stood firm and strong and proud, a steward of a great weight of story, of the noble usherment of the king of the unnoticed, of the small and of the poor and of the powerless. We need to start talking about Lebanon A LOT more.
Magnificent photo!
Interesting to read both your and Marita's accounts of this walk - two sides of the same coin!
