The pacing was some of the worst I've seen in modern movies. Characters weren't given time to breathe. Fox McCloud is wasted on this being his first appearance. This happened and this happened and this happened and this happened... 5/10

Worked at a Subway many years ago. Customer came in very huffy, demanded a Cold Cut Trio sub but "I don't want any meat on it. No meat!" I said "Veggie sub?" "No! I said I wanted a cold cut trio without the meat!" "...but that costs more..." "I SAID MEATLESS COLD CUT TRIO!"
Gave up after that.
I'm so sick of AI being crammed into every fucking thing. Telegram is now prompting me to write my messages for me. Motherfucker I do not want an LLM telling me it can write my lurid X-rated descriptions of busting nuts. I have a perfectly good grasp of the English language to do that myself.
It isn't brave to make people suffer. It isn't tenacious and a plucky hero story to see people have to live through abuse, neglect, and governmental overreach. It is sociopathy to be cool with this and allow it to continue even one more day much less enshrine this bullshit into law. /Rant
That indeed does mean that a person who has a different faith than you should still be treated for injuries and should still have shelter and a place to live. And if a person has a sexuality that isn't one you understand or care for. Or if they have blue hair or tan skin. Whatever.
Part of that contract means that we will sometimes have to care for people that we don't agree with sometimes. People aren't monolithic. We are different and weird and wonderful and we should celebrate that even if we don't "get" it. That's what it really means to be part of a society.
People that are made to suffer and fight a system that refuses to treat them as human beings aren't brave because they want to be, they are enduring because it's a survival instinct. USians claim to say that we are in a society but seem to not be able to abide by what composes that social contract.
One sentiment that gets around a lot is that people who have to "endure" are "brave" and "resilient". These are buzzwords. Meaningless. We should be making a world where people don't have to endure. Where people are safe and comfortable. We should all want that. We should make that world.
