The 4th component is the data migration... 🤖🤖🤖 ... which is super sick (Millenial "sick" , not boomer "sick").

I'm full-speed-ahead on moving to "my" cloud. 💻🥷

Right now I'm working on "containerization" which brings huge benefits like security, elasticity, and portability. 🤓

With 24 days left, I'm ready to move onto the 3rd component of the "The Button". Which is boring to everyone but the security guys... "Ingress"... proxy, load balancing and SSL.

December 1 is our drop-dead cut-over date. So our new system will share my birthday. (Thank you in advance for the well-wishes.)

But this project has been in flight for 4 months.

Hyper-secure, elastic, self-healing, infrastructure-as-code. One SQL database for all processes. One attack surface.

Owners, questions I would have for my CTO (whatever you call IT):
🏔️ Why is senior technical talent leaving Canada? Or staying?
🥷 Can you point to my "attack surfaces", technologically speaking? Is that owned by corporate America? Or Canadians?
🤖 Are we AI-ready? Policy, clean data and running local.

Over November, we are completing our digital migration which includes:
☁︎ Infrastructure-as-code - for hyper-secure, "deploy anywhere" capabilities
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Open source software in the age of AI
📀 Data migration - we're taking every bit of data with us! (pun intended) 📈📊

Friends!

Creative Sparq is moving our internal CRM out of "The Cloud".

After a decade-long, intimate technology relationship, this December 1st, we are moving it to #opensource #crm #localbusiness, which is next level #creativesparq.

Back to the future was released in theatres 40 years ago today.

When the 6-foot tall speaker blows Marty McFly against a bookshelf, I knew I wanted to be Doc Brown. To make, fix, think outside the box. Look past the current state. Create a vision for a better future. And get to work in the lab.

Bad decisions are made on bad data. Boycott NA news. If you don't know there's a gen0c!de happening, you're living in George Orwell's 1984 (written in 1949).

Meet Systems Muck

Meet Systems Muck

The first step in a digital transformation is being able to recognize Systems Muck, so that you can create a better future without him.

Get to know him here: creativesparq.ca/systems-muck...

Systems Muck is working against you at #yourcompany, in the shadows, helping you make short-sighted process and systems decisions that have piled up to an expensive stew of disjointed, disconnected systems, where data drifts away from reality over time, stagnating you, leading to bad decisions. 🫣😵‍💫😖

In 2025 you don’t want to be running your business with the lights off. You’d rather organize your information in your technology and make work flow.

Follow the story and book a meeting.

Cloud sprawl, subscription fatigue, application stew, “Systems Muck”. “Every day is a Monday”. Wrong recipients on sensitive messages. Moving targets. Continual delays. Missing stakeholder expectations. Data “drifts” over time and decisions are made on bad data.

It blows my mind that TikTok had a brief outage last week while they installed the censorship algorithm that the United States wanted.

And now it’s no longer an issue.

It wasn’t about the data, it was about blocking news at the border? Shame on them! 🤨

“Nothing wrong here, just $900 billion drones that our military complex made, tested on flesh of the 99% in Gaza, which can be deployed anywhere on Earth, particularly from the military bases and vehicles we have everywhere.”

Basically, worst case scenario.

We’d prefer aliens.
