A still sea and big clouds.
Some interesting cloud action over the Hebrides yesterday.

Some interesting cloud action over the Hebrides yesterday.
Dry stone wall in bright sunshine. Dark hills beyond.
Some more dark light. Bit arty, but hey.
Lovely. :0)
It's Primrose and Camellia time.
Trees, river, hills and sun.
Hopefully, you'll pick up the atmosphere of this place from its photo.
Red Squirrel eating a nut.
Hazelnut lunch.
Cloud touching the tops of mountains.
It's been sunny and cloudy and wet here this week. Next week looks back to normal for April (dry and sunny).
Thrush atop a tree.
This little chap sings his heart out for 6+ hours in the morning and a further 2 or 3 every evening. Putting a shift in! Here he is on top of a 12 metre tall Spruce yesterday. Background noise is the burn that runs through the forest.

Aerial shot of Highland Village by the sea.
Here's a still from the drone flight on Tuesday. Shieldaig Village with Ben Shieldaig behind.
Glad to see your views on Trump, but I don't think you quite understand how the National Heath Service works in the UK. Also we all have electricity... no need for diesel generators!
:)
Ship on a blue sea.
The Hebridean Princess has just arrived in the loch.
A house by a still loch.
There are some very lovely places to live in the NW Highlands. This is one of them! (It's Loch Long, and it's tidal, so technically this is the North Atlantic).
Pine trees and the top of a mountain.
Below Beinn Alligin.
Cheque in the post ;)
Out of interest, they split their time between here and the Hebrides. Seen as south as Mull, and as north as the top of Lewis.
I was watching them and they flew out towards the Inner Sound (The young one is no longer on the nest). You'll note from all my pics and vids, I don't fly over the island, but knowing they weren't there I sent the drone over. Apart from anything else, they would destroy my tiny drone in a heartbeat!
A flight from above Shieldaig Island to Shieldaig Village yesterday afternoon. The music is part of something I wrote for Warner Bros. a few years ago.
Quiet road by a river in bright sunshine.
Just got back from one of our fave walks along that banks of the River Elchaig (and a picnic breakfast). Well worth the 100 mile round trip!
Low cloud, green sea.
At certain times, with the light and the tides just right, the lochs with sandy seabeds can turn an almost fluorescent green.
Bertie always has to break a Frisbee's neck to make sure it's dead before he drops it at your feet to be thrown again.
Rainbow over a dull sea.
It was one of those Sundays.
A pan above the southern end of Ben Shieldaig yesterday morning, revealing Glen Shieldaig, Beinn Bhàn, Loch an Loin and Loch Coultrie.
Aerial shot of snow covered landscape.
Above the southern end of Ben Shieldaig. Beinn & Loch Damh to the right and Beinn Alligin on the far side of Upper Loch Torridon. 07:30 yesterday morning.
Ted looking out into space.
Congratulations to Artemis II. Travelling a huge 700,000+ miles. Welcome home. Out of interest, that's almost as far as Ted has travelled - currently standing at 789,010 miles... and counting :)

The artic finally found somewhere wide enough to park up and let the wide load pass. Took a while! Not the best reversing I've ever seen, but downhill round bends with traffic coming from behind, t'was a bit of a nightmare for him.
Blue sea and sky. Snow topped mountains.
Today it is mostly cold, breezy but sunny in the NW Highlands. Lots and lots of blue.
Wide load meets artic.
Artic reverses.
There may be trouble ahead.
(10 minutes of painful to watch reversing to be exact).
Snow topped mountains.
Snow on the tops again this morning.
Gorse lined track. Mountains ahead.
The track from Loch Damh to Upper Loch Torridon.
