Sacharissa Cripslock is described as being made of attractive parts, but those parts were all attractive at different times in history.

With an absolutely amazing reveal shot.
...automakers triumphantly say "this is what the market wants!"
No, this is what your shareholders want.
Canadians have traditionally liked smaller cars, and have loved hatchbacks. But because of economies of scale forced upon us by NAFTA- and later CUSMA-influenced sales targets, the small car has almost become extinct here. We are forced into trucks and SUVs because that's all we are sold. And the...
...the regulations loophole: it's easier to make a full-size pickup or a light truck like an SUV meet the looser truck economy and safety standards than to do the same for a small car.
A Jetta wagon can do the exact same duties as a VW Taos, but the margins on a Taos are better. So the car goes.
They axed the Fit because Honda North America wasn't making enough profit margin on them. Americans (and Canadians as a side-effect) are being forced into larger cars because the automakers found that the profit margins on a big SUV are way better than on a sedan or hatchback. There's also...
But that upcountry sauce. Mmm-mmm.
The whole food bank thing is still fresh in my memory
The only reason Roscosmos exists *at all* is because of American funding and ISS supply/crew transfer contracts. Once that's gone... *poof*
Once in a while, I get a MAGA-type telling me that my Canadian health care sucks because SOCIALISM or that we have long wait times.
Now I can tell them that we may have to wait, but at least we'll be face to face with a doctor at some point
Movie was meh with some very good bits. Soundtrack OTOH was *amazing*. Theme by Apollo 440? Hell yeah!
The high points of TNG were, apparently, the poker games.
Canada's CUSMA negotiating team should flag Trump and anyone in his administration as "trade irritants".
It does occasionally, but it's a pale imitation.

Know what I miss from SE Michigan more than anything?
A good Coney dog. Man, what I wouldn't give for one.
It'll be all the more delicious once the orange turd is gone.
Quite so! I can see Port Huron from the road out front of my apartment.
I love Detroit; I live less than an hour's drive north up I-94 and spent quite a lot of time there. Looking forward to a day when Canadians can travel to the US again so I can return.
I remember when Detroit fell below 1M population. I don't think any urban area in the US -- possibly the Western world -- has suffered like Detroit has.
My current one does too, and a 45L tank.
The Jag got, on a good day, 13 MPG. It was like driving a very low, very fast full-size pickup with a tiny cab and no bed.
Sure was gorgeous, though
When my dad passed away a few years ago, he left me a sum of money for me to "buy myself a nice car". I bought a Jaguar XJS.
I re-sold it two years ago after it cost me over $150 CAD to fill it up. 90 litres (24 US gallons) of 91 octane. I can't even imagine what it would be like now.

Iran: "How about you *remove* 1000 troops, or we'll hit Qatar again."
Uh, could it be maybe TS//FVEY?
'Cause otherwise I have some paperwork to fill out.
There would be concerns over local flooding
