Vast majority of positions are remote (90%). QC=Quality Control. I don't have any specific openings or companies for you, but "medical writing" always has lots of hits.

Perhaps this is a stupid suggestion, but what about medical writing? Meaning preparation of science journal articles and conference materials (scientific communication), regulatory and clinical documents like clinical study protocols and reports. There's also the QC aspect, which is a good intro.
