Working from home is 90% trying to ignore my dog's 'take me for a walk' eyes, and 10% walking the dog.

I do hope he is having a lovely birthday with everything he deserves. I hear he is having a lovely day out in his new grey tracksuit, bless.
Bet grey really suits him though. Matches his hair.
I am quite glad the Royal family are no longer the people who dictate fashion - Grey tracksuits do not suit me.
An important takeaway – the High Court has made clear that the Code of Practice has gotten the law wrong. It will need to be rejected by the Minister.
There is some justice left in the world!
A bird's-eye view of a former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp showing a wide dirt pathway flanked by parallel rows of barbed-wire fences. Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.
Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.
I haven't had a paper published as lead author outside of my PhD yet, so that is the main aim I think. Recovering from that publishing lul that can happen in your first few years in-post.
Invading neighbouring countries, tick. Trying to control the media, tick. Oppressing minorities, tick. Ruling by violence and fear, tick. My 'how close are the USA to 1930s Germany' bingo card is pretty much complete.
My partner just called my Converse collection 'coloured plimsolls'. I am devastated and need a divorce lawyer.
New year, same me. Cos I actually quite like me.
We were promised this was not going to be 'the adult Cass report' and I am glad to see that was true.
Pretty devastated to see the WI have followed on from the Guides. Both of these institutions have been trailblazers and vital pillars of rural life when I was growing up.
Today is a day to remember, to learn and to celebrate all those whose lives have been touched by AIDS. The trans community has been heavily effected by this illness over the years and at NCTH, we especially remember the trans people we have lost to this illness. x

Nope. As a teenage somebody felt my chest to see if I was telling the truth. Today, I would have reported that as sexual assault.
So if you don't look cis enough, you get kicked out of the toilet. That is basically how these new guidelines will work?

The Transgender Archive Network are running a free workshop this Saturday to examine the ins and outs of intergenerational working. Tickets are free and there is plenty of free tea and coffee. The venue is also fully accessible - www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/transgende...
We are attempting to move the date of this event as quite a few people who have expressed and interest can't make it.
My brother works at Heathrow. As I have the Flight Radar app on my phone I have offered him my services. (I think a bunch of swear words will be heading back to me, but sibling rivalry does not stop just because he is having a bad day!)

Try this one
Ooo it does for me. I will look into it. Thanks.
Interested in archiving? Interested in transgender oral histories? Interested in how these could work on an intergenerational level? Come along to our latest workshop next Saturday in Nottingham - www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/east-midla...
It's amazing how quicky we have adapted to saying a hearty goodbye to somebody in a meeting online, then seeing them two minutes later in the staff room.
People working from home, remember to put something on before you start a teams call (this is not advice from experience, but advice from my mind constantly worrying about doing it!)
One small victory at a time is how we get equity. And this is one.
Interesting debate at Queer Britain last night about the similarities and differences between transphobia and homophobia. Was somewhat de-railed by gender critical people wanting to debate biology but I'm used to that!
Crocks and socks is apparently acceptable this time around. I'm very happy about that!
