It's good that technology has gone far enough to let more ppl across the world communicate on the net but these should stay the fuck away from anything more serious

If you feel that use of AI art assets at any stage of the process is an automatic out, but ChatGPT translations are fine if they're "checked" by people, it might be worth asking yourself why that is. Because it sounds a whole lot like valuing the work of translators less than other creatives to me.

My main complaint is the way the main characters were written, it felt very...gimmicky at times? Especially for Vitali where they never even try to be subtle about his very pointed interest in the occult like they hammer it in every dialogue
I think overall Astor and Caligar were my faves

Abstract otherworldly concepts and creatures still exist there, but it's a more linear story with characters having their own cutscenes and dialogues. Much easier to follow, which again might be disappointing if you really wanted something complicated, but ymmv here

If you liked CS and BoH specifically because of how obtuse and complicated it got, you're not going to enjoy this as much, but if you got turned off by exactly that and would have liked something similar a bit more streamlined/less confusing with the same atmosphere and setting, this is for you!
