"It doesn't help Britain to be lavishing pomp on a president so determined to be divisive, childish and destructive"
"Do you think Donald Trump has changed?"
Yvette Cooper, "We have a strong partnership with the US"
Vance:
"We want you to make a decision about your future with no outside forces pressuring you or telling you what to do. I'm not telling you exactly who to vote for."
Vance 20 minutes later:
"Go to the polls at the weekend. Stand with Viktor Orbán!"
For purposes of research has anyone seen any support for Trumps latest “a whole civilisation will die tonight” post? Please post below with links and sources if you can. Thank you 🙏🏾
Ed Davey message to the PM.
Made Keralan Lamb Stew today! Eaten at Easter by Christians in that part of the world 🐣💜
Last week Trump was compared to Jesus. Today is Easter Sunday. Many Christians will be insulted by this, as Muslims will be too. A reminder he is the Commander in Chief and has authority to do the unspeakable. Will anyone in his team and party speak out? Or does he have their full support?
Brian, this was part of Islamic rule. Of Al-Andalus. (Spain). Islam provided the system, the governance and The Quran encouraged education and scholars to learn and emphasise knowledge. Leading to translations and sharing of knowledge as far as Britain.
As result of Islamic Golden Age and colonisation of Spain
According to the Cato Institute, The Trump administration is reportedly receiving millions of immigration applications, pocketing the hefty fees, and never processing the applications.
It’s collected over $1 billion in fees so far.
Where is the outcry over this fraud and abuse?
Brilliant thread 🙏🏾
Education. Education. Education.
Even in your 70s.

Who attacks most women in the UK? Boys in church? Women and girls on rich islands?
No country is perfect as in the UK Muslims feel persecuted and unequal and we have many issues with Trans, Gay and women’s rights. Highly Muslim populated countries such as Tunisia, Turkey, Albania are seen as progressive. And you may argue that Saudi is undertaking progressive reform.
Learned something new.
Just down the coast is that other bastion of British Brit Britishness, Gibraltar - Gib el Tarik (Jabal Tariq), meaning "Mountain of Tariq"
Perhaps we're a little bit more historically connected to other cultures than we like to imagine.
I didn’t at the mosque on Eid 💜
If anyone wants to learn anymore you can pop to University. Oh by the way Al-Qarawiyyin University was the world’s first learning centre. Thanks again to them Muslims.
British Islamic fact of the day. “Trafalgar" originates from the Arabic phrase taraf al-ghar, (طرف الغرب) meaning "cape of the west" or "western edge," which refers to Cape Trafalgar in Andalusia. It is best known for the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar, where Britain defeated French and Spanish forces.
Does that warrant a discussion about the religion too?
Since Muslims prayed for peace in London last week we hear discussions about Islamic Extremism. Which is horrific. But Netanyahu is accused of abhorrent war crimes and quotes Amaleks from the Torah. And two weeks ago Trump’s team led a Christian prayer in the Oval Office after bombing a girls school.
If some are still worried about Islam dominating London, please don’t tell them the gothic architecture of Big Ben and the Houses or Parliament are hugely influenced by Islam. Big Ben is inspired by the minaret of the Great Mosque of Aleppo, Syria. And the HoP arches on the Mosque or Cordoba. ❤️
What’s the purpose of skirt guidelines at some schools? Boys shorts. A Nun’s clothing? Why do hospitality, airlines, some hotels etc encourage dresses or skirts?
YouGov report Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is the only Cabinet Minister to see any significant shift, a net loss of 6 points since February, to -36

Do you think ‘all or many’ women and girls freely decide on what they should wear to school, some workplaces, in convents, in some family settings? Or do you think some may feel forced by rules, faith and society? If so have you lost your ethical core?
Quite! And as female friend pointed out to me once, why are girls at school and women at some workplaces forced to wear certain clothing.
Hey Doc. Not sure that has anything to do with the prayers last week. As for “cloth bags”. Many women choose to do so and that is their right. Very similar to Nuns. Many women who cover up feel it’s their right and independence to decide who sees them and their bodies.
