Things that seem routine, may not be, so morale of this story is, if your routine went great today.

Reflect on it, be grateful for it, and hug your people/pets as much as you possible can.

My pup is laying in my lap, resting comfortably as I type this and my heart is full

Dog had UTI, went to vet, they ordered Enroflaxin due to rods being present in teh urine and struvite crystals,

Enro lowers seizure threshold and dog was already on reglan, so the combo must have triggered them, we hope

vet told me that they cannot rule out that she has something larger going on

I've always respected the vets I've seen and other healthcare professionals, but the poeple at that emergency vet were so good to me and my dog.

If there is a god, they are embodied in the work I saw the other night.

Dog is ok, shes home, on seizure medication, was a reaction to a new antibiotic

I've been a Registered Nurse for over 16 years now. I have worked ICU for 11 of those years.

NOTHING, i mean NOTHING prepares you for the terror of watching your 11 year old dog have a seizure. nothing.

I was mortified, but thank god for the vets at the emergency care. They do gods work.

@dmvlegacyleague.com hello! I'm looking on your website and I have a question.

Is it just store weekly swiss events that give points or are there other events like swiss + top 8 that feed points?

Thanks ahead of time!

Having clarified my goals also clarifies what I'm doing on #MTGO, because it seems owning your own collection can be silly at times.

The way I have it now, I feel good about it.

Have you clarified what you want out of the hobby? I encourage you to do so, because it reduces the FOMO

TED talk over

I'm sure I'm not alone. With my career and family obligations, I don't get to play much paper Legacy, but I want to be competent in my paper decks.

So having a #MTGO collection that mirrors my paper one, so I can play the cards I own and be competitive in the side events, is important to me

It feels good to put it into words because sometimes I feel like I'm all over the place, I want to play in big events, I want to do this, do that, play in this, play in that.

Magic has so much depth that I think the many choices can cause analysis paralysis, atleast it did for me.

I took some time and clarified what I want from the #MagicTheGathering hobby.

I have no dreams of spiking a major event. I want to participate in my weeklies and be competitive in them.

I want to play in legacy side events just for the paper legacy feel

That's really it

Nice comeback! Regardless of how day 2 goes, you have that comeback to be proud of!

What is this champions cup? Why have I never heard of it? Is there coverage for this that I can go back and watch?

BANT FOOD CHAIN Practice Room S2 2025

Keeping track of my Food Chain tournament practice room games. Chain is a deck that doesn't do well in leagues at all because of the clock, but practice room is fine.

I understand its the practice room, but if anyone is interested, here it is: docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

whats your discord handle? I'll add you as a friend!

Yeah it has its struggles, but I continue to play it alot on Magic Online, cant do leagues with it on MTGO becuase of all the clicking and people will time you out and you will lose just to the clock.

but I have friends who I playtest against alot on MTGO and it gives me alot of reps

Bant Food Chain is my favorite legacy deck of all time. I do quite well with it at SCG legacy side events. Something about casting manipulate fate, that just clicks every legacy box for me.

I also enjoy showing off my 100% foiled food chain deck (non MM, ofc lol)
