Alex Karp, the CEO of Palantir, released his manifesto

Silicon Valley should abandon inclusivity, stop pretending that all cultures are equal, and that the world should be ruled by a techno-fascist elite that keeps society in a constant, perpetual state of war.
How they treat fraud.
$3,000,000,000 - 40 months
$100 - 180 months
Crime is only crime for the poor, can't be sending the rich to jail.
Or they might end up there themselves
600 migrants crossed Channel in a single day BBC screams
Yet not a word on the £600,000 Reforms Richard Tice avoided paying or nearly £100,000 he underpaid from a company that donates money to Reform
Which is corrupt as hell and as an MP far more newsworthy than migrants but its Reform 🤷🏼♂️😡
Setting fire to the Union Jack has never been an acceptable form of patriotism.
Yet Reform still on target for a super majority next GE. What's going on? Hopefully 7th May will inform us.
So Trump blackmails Iran by blockading ships going to Iran. In response Iran shuts the Strait and Trump cries blackmail! The stupidity & hypocrisy of the man & his regime is breathtaking.
"The masters of war pretend not to know that it takes only a moment to destroy, yet a lifetime is often not enough to rebuild. They turn a blind eye to the fact that billions of dollars are spent on killing and devastation, yet the resources needed for healing, education and restoration are nowhere to be found." -Pope Leo XIV
I thought Trump said the war was over, we won, the strait was open, and they were giving up their uranium? What happened with all that?
Very interesting piece this. Demonstrates the pervasive influence of "shitstalgia" while also highlighting that its some among the 60 pluses who need a social media ban and much more than the kids.
Brutal assessment. Hard to argue with.
Curiously incurious Starmer is either a liar or totally incompetent by failing to ask obvious questions before making the statements he did misleading both the public and House. Our Labour gov'ts now in full linguistic houdini mode as it always is when it's caught out. #StarmerMustGo
Today is a good day.

JD Vance is on a historic roll:
He campaigns for AfD in Germany - they lose.
Invited the Pope to come to US for Trump’s big event - Pope refuses.
Leads peace negotiations with Iran - fails miserably.
Campaigns in Hungary for Orbán - who gets smoked.
The US under Trump being led to humiliation & decline. Seems it's not clicked with MAGA. They can't even believe that the rest of the world's on the way to breaking free. Hopefully we're also figuring out what to do with their tech & access to our data.
You can't blockade a blockade and apart from the oil it exports Iran is almost completely self sustained or supplied by land from neighbouring countries.
Or in short, a blockade won't do anything.
Too right!
Genuinely baffling that the Met Police feel they have to keep arresting pensioners under a policy provisionally ruled unlawful. Yes, the Gov can appeal, but appeals are lost more often than they are won. Policing also costs a fortune and racks up compensation claims. All they had to do was NOTHING.
Those that value the rule of law, freedom & democracy won't vote Labour. Meanwhile the Met Police are just ridiculous. Seems they've not enough proper policing to do.

"With his bloodthirsty utterances, his fierce loyalty to Trump and his appalling inability to manage this huge moment in world history, Hegseth is every bit the disaster that anybody sensible could have seen coming," writes @sulliview.bsky.social.
“This is now the fourth time in a row – in Gaza, once in Lebanon and twice in Iran – that [Netanyahu’s] boasts of total victory and the removal of existential threats have been exposed as empty promises.”
Starmer just starting to say what the Green Party's been saying for ages. The UK must become more resilient to deal with a "volatile and dangerous" world where "shocks like Iran are frequent, he warns. He only ever does something when forced by events.

Oh dear! news.sky.com/story/why-a-...
Zack Polanski, "We won't get the change we need from Labour councillors or a Labour government"
"I talked about rot in housing, let's look at the very top"
"Steve Reed, the Housing Secretary, he just charged £2,000 a pop to property developers to have a curry with him"
I understand. Labour gov't was getting loads of bad press because of Russia sending warship to escort sanctioned tankers in Eng Channel. So they release this. Problem is they'd have to threaten nuclear war to deter Russia _ Russia mapped all they need. Feel safe?

Lets do a little fact check
The Solar Farm will be jointly owned by EDF Renewables UK and Luminous Energy.
EDF is the French Government, and Luminous Energy once you look into it is financed by Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC.
The Japanese.
Ensuring Energy is expensive forever.
Sec Gen NATO Rutte: “We like each other… I really admire Trump’s leadership… The world is safer today than before the war…”
He won’t even condemn Trump’s genocidal “civilization” post. This dude is somehow more of a lapdog than anyone in Trump’s own cabinet.
Richard Tice tweeting, in respect of the approval of a large solar farm: "Disgraceful appalling decision We @reformparty_uk will do our best to stop this being built or connected."
Reform won't be happy until the world lies in cinders.
Clip from Piers Morgan Uncensored where he pushes back hard on the White House narrative around Iran. Key points: Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, $30 billion spent by the Pentagon, 15 dead U.S. soldiers, no regime change, and collapsing approval ratings for Trump.
Worth watching the full take.
