I think I'm understanding the appeal of Monster Hunter now. It does help that I'm starting at the same time as other people.
Haven't played much Monster Hunter before Wilds. Deciding between Hunting Horn and Greatsword.
Otherwise though, City of the Wolves is very fun. I'll probably play it competitively. Really good pace, fun mechanics, silly combos. Pretty much what I want.
Do not win a placement match against the CPU. I can't find many matches lol for City of the Wolves
DMC3 20th Anniversary is today. I never dug into this one like 4 or 5. Maybe it is time. Replaying now and it's fantastic still today.
Kain is definitely the best character SNK could've brought back for City of the Wolves. He's sick.
Mai seems good? Buttons are good. Fireballs are funny. Getting a shimmy off a forward dash throw loop is degenerate.
It's not a great look, but that version of NG2 was contentious among the die hard fans. Most preferred the Xbox version and this aims to be closer to that. I can understand 50 being steep for many people, but I'm still buying day 1
I did not expect to wake up to Ninja Gaiden 4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 remake shadow, the latter which is shadow dropping today. I'm so excited.
Really enjoying PoE2. What is here in early access is pretty damn good, excited to see how it pans out over the next few months.
VF playtest is over and I just wanna keep playing it. Game is too fun.
Virtua Fighter is fun. Idk what I'm doing, but it's fun
That PoE2 game is pretty good. Playing blind doesn't seem too punishing compared to the first one, but maybe it just seems relatively straightforward to scale damage early.
Okay, Nine Sols is one of the best metroidvanias I've ever played. Definitely flew under my radar this year. Give it a look if you like Hollow Knight and/or Sekiro
I believe in them Berserk is beloved. It'll end well
Man, Berserk really deserves better anime adaptions of its story
Curiosity Isn't weird. The relentless pursuit of it can almost always be considered weird though which is an odd dichotomy
I like to be humbled by people who know more about a topic than I do. Weird though I suppose.
Even though I'm moving off of the Elon platform, I still think social media is the death of nuance and humility. The power of saying "I don't know" or "I didn't consider it that way" is a lost art.
