That said, there are wards and people that DO want to help.
They're fucking golden lottery tickets. Like most care-related institutions. There's too many horror stories and they often presist due greed and neglect.

Literally one of the worst threats to mental health one can receive is being sent to one of those facilities with no autonomy.

I say this as someone who got ''special'' abuse as an autistic person, and it wasn't even at a ward.
