No way!!!
It’s ALCS statement time so can I say an enormous thank you to everyone and anyone who has put any of my publications on your reading lists, I appreciate you!
I’m working on finalising our work queue for Q2 and I’m looking for five projects with 10+ hours of audio, whether interviews, focus groups, or workshops needing high-quality analysis-ready transcripts for April.

We did this at Bristol last year - the meeting in which it was discussed with staff was pretty shocking
They're still accepting proposals to participate in this workshop on intimacy and justice! I first developed my work on Lorde's erotic at a predecessor to this workshop, which @lukebrunning.bsky.social and Natasha McKeever convened at MANCEPT in 2021. It's a great incubator for new research ideas!
"the sane choice"
Brilliant! I’d suspected that stylistic analysis would show up something interesting as On Liberty is written so differently to Utilitarianism. I’m sure many people have thought the same. But I didn’t have the skills to attempt it myself. Delighted it has been done.
Next time I'm in my office, I really need to take a picture of what I can see out of my window and send it to you for a comparison...
