We took Chloe on her first birding expedition (it was for me obviously) and crossed off the Northern Lapwing which I have been wanting to find. 💗

The Fourth Trimester Ends 🤍 Things I Wasn’t Prepared for as a New Mom YouTube video by Stephanie Stimac

I found a moment to vlog this morning AND edit AND post. For the first time in 3 months, it was a much needed creative moment.

I have so many complicated feelings when I think about going back to work in May even if it’s part time.

I did not expect motherhood to smash my identity into pieces and rebuild it the way and to the extent it has.

Hmmm might have to go to the butcher this week. Steak skills are rusty (but it’s still tasty)

Making steak for the first time in over a year (refused to eat a well done steak while pregnant) and trying not to set the fire alarm off 😌 doing it right

No one prepared me for how emotional it is when your baby outgrows things.

First newborn clothes? I’m crying. Attached to these pieces of cloth.

Her newborn car seat inlay? I’m truly unwell.

As @seaotta.dev puts it (paraphrased):

❝ Design and web development are two complementary professions that frequently overlap. Just as it’s beneficial for designers to understand code, it’s equally beneficial for developers to understand design. ❞

Not much more than that unfortunately. I haven’t had time to market it and build more content around it. Sales have been slow and I think AI might be a reason.

Louis Theroux is so damn good.

Just let them talk while he calmly asks questions.

Guess who's (hopefully) back... 😅

Wrapping up "Design for Developers" by @seaotta.dev and then I’m fully booked... with books 😅

A bit of wordplay there, but honestly, I couldn’t imagine a better way to start the weekend.

Thanks, @manning.com, I’ll share my learnings and reviews along the way!

Maybe take care of the people who have to give birth?

🙃 anyway, thanks for coming to my rant.

Anyway my joints ache lIke I’ve never experienced & I’m realizing how poor prep for postpartum is from the medical side. Everyone only cares about the birth and your baby and then after that it very much feels like “we don’t care about you” and yet the people in power keep crying about birth rates.

Last year I read a book called Unwell Women that covers history and why women’s healthcare is so poor.

Being postpartum with new issues popping up 9 weeks after birth just continues to make me angry. You go to research things and it’s just like “it is what it is” & “take some Tylenol“…

Just to clarify, I haven’t had any apps ask for it yet but did it more as a precaution since I hadn’t updated in so long
