Lately I’ve put a lot of miles into my Nikes and asics.

Up until these past few years, they were bricks. Their whole identity of the geometric/squares outsole just didn’t work and was harshly firm. That’s since improved, and thus the uptick in popularity. Though as with every brand, different models are going to have a different underfoot feel.
