I thought this was very cool world building when I was a kid but many year later I realized it was probably because of poor translation of a truncated word.
Antidote -> ant -> fourmi
This is probably my most useless piece of video game knowledge.
I randomly thought about the fact that in the French version of Breath of Fire for GBA, translated from the English translation rather than the Japanese game, antidotes are called "fourmi", the French word for ant.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.
Blender is struggling. it's the best piece of 3d software on the market, and it's free. I'm not going back to autodesk.

I think it's the main issue with parry mechanics in general. It's supposed to be high risk high reward but once you learn the timing the risk part disappears and you can ignore all other mechanics
