It’s really disheartening to see trans users having to step back from Bluesky because of the influx of transphobic harassment. Trans posters built the culture of this platform and it would behoove cis allies to advocate for their safety as Bluesky expands and they get targeted

Good Boys | Reed McConnell Pinocchio turns into a real boy at the story’s end not because he has absorbed some Kantian sense of duty, but because his slow-growing love for the blue-haired fairy and Geppetto compels him to care ...

Obsessed with this piece about Pinocchio’s ascendancy vis-a-vis Jordan Peterson’s weepy preoccupation with him by @reedreedreed.bsky.social www.nplusonemag.com/issue-48/rev...

This piece on how Lee McCarthy managed to write and publish poetry, teach full time, fight for free speech, and be the sole provider for her son is quite a read after yesterday's VF piece on Cormac McCarthy.

I am an admirer of the author, and I appreciate this poem's message, but I am saddened to see shared as inspirational a poem that absolutely embodies the rampant, unsubtle fatphobia still dominant in literature. Ob*sity is a slur, not a noun. Fat bodies don't "withstand" themselves. They simply are.
