One thing I wonder about with this Leafs GM search, are they narrowing down finalists who are the best fit for the job? Or the ones that most closely align with the organization's belief they can re-tool this thing and don't need a full rebuild? Hopefully it's the former.

Incredible that Calle Jarnkrok made it through his entire 4-year contract with the Leafs. 15 total points over the past two seasons. Never traded, never waived, never sent down to the AHL. One of the great feats in sports history.

Almost half of this year’s playoff teams rank in the bottom third in the NHL in save percentage, and 3 are in the bottom 4.

Last season only one playoff team (Carolina) finished in the bottom third (26th).
