Da fuq is this?!?

These guys just have NFC about Iranian national culture & how they do things. We send a real estate guy and couple of hedge fund managers - proud know-nothings - to fix this mess: they were outgunned from the fist minute.
Isn’t the formula just this?
[shitty opera with fake violence] + [real violence] = UFC?
I don’t see the appeal but obviously a lot of people do. And it’s frightening how this formula is a metaphor for our national politics.
There is a notable double standard there… if Al Franken was a republican, he would still a Senator and now Eric Swalwell may go down. That all being said, I would rather be on the side of “listen to the victims” than the other side: which has far less stringent rules for pedos and sex pests.
Did he get his beak wet with the capo's blessing? Can't wait to learn more!
A WHOLE CIVILIZATION WILL DIE TONIGHT My son needs lunch, and I have to put his backpack together, but a whole civilization will die tonight, so I'm wondering if they've closed their schools. Like, a snow day, maybe, except instead of snow it's "keep your children home so if you die, you die together" — instead of "well open back up once the plows have cleared" it's "we don't know if we'll be here tomorrow, hold your babies tight." It's just "talk" I'm told, which I've been told before. "It's how the president makes his deals." But I've never heard anyone talk about other human beings this way, and I'm not certain I can look my son in the eyes if we all agree to stomach it one more time. A civilization will die tonight, but as I zip up his backpack and kiss him off to school I think: if this is what we call leadership then I'm not entirely sure ours isn't already dead. @michaelfdubois Mukad A QuBoy @michacifdubois
Brutal.
For my overseas friends, one legacy of the Cold War is that in the event of a nuclear war, the President can choose to launch our entire arsenal of weapons, and this decision is unreviewable. So, yeah, he can wipe out an entire planet all at once instead of slowly.
I am just at a loss to explain what it feels like to live in the thinking part of America this morning.
This one bombastic prick is threatening to wipe out a 6,000 year old civilization, because he won’t get his way? Because he’s turned Bluster up to 11? Because only he has the launch codes?
War crimes, and our behalf. This is the twisted end game of a horribly twisted man. The 25th Amendment, like the rest of the shredded Constitution, was meant as an instrument for balanced governance by rational people, but no framer could protect us against regime lunatics and a compliant Congress.
You say what the rest of thinking people also can’t believe they’d say either.

For economists and for any normal people who think, university education is an export good, and part of our trade balance.
How did we get to the point where we are governed by morons?? Asking for 75 million friends…
Thus my theory that while he ain’t going to heaven, the Devil also doesn’t want the competition in Hell, so he stays here… continues to be upheld.
Just so everyone knows: per my doc, there is zero downside to just getting the MMR as a booster even if you had a good or bad vax in the the past: save the money and get it done before the measles stops by your house.
On days like today, I am no longer sure. On balance their economics journalism and their international journalism are usually great - it’s how they treat US politics (sanewashing that One Special Boy, and downplaying the impact of progressives rising up in protest) which drives me to unsubscribe.
I don’t know how they can possibly think the rest of us, including every f’ing one of their subscribers, wouldn’t know the whole line shortly after reading the article. I still subscribe, but days like this make me wonder why. Sanewashing and sanitizing is not journalism: not ever.
Also - save the money on the test: I spent the money because I am a science geek. Just get the vax and be glad you did.
If you’re in your 60’s, and you were vaxxed against Measles in your youth: go get the MMR now. Most who got the earliest vaccines have zero immunity now: the 1st gen vaccine wasn’t 100%. I spent $400 on a titer test to see that I needed a $1.70 booster vaccine. There are a lot of us. Get your MMR!
This is an actual post. This is not funny. This is beyond desperate. This is a deeply unwell man who doesn’t belong anywhere near the levers of power. Every member of his cabinet and Congress is complicit in not demanding his removal now.
“Weaker Johnson”: that’s art.
Da fuq was this speech about?
Also: it was barack HUSSEIN!!! obama’s fault.
We are so doomed. But - keep it up with the cardboard signs - it may not look like it matters but it does.
((barack))
HUSSSSSSEIN!!!
((obama))
The dog whistles are now megaphones….
^^^THIS was a coffee-spit worthy piece of art - thanks for the belly laugh!
Twice.
“What strokes his ego and what enriches him and his peeps” are the only two objectives… he’s just got the sole power of the largest military that’s ever existed to drive these objectives. What is weird to me is how so many others are 100% on board but won’t see either an ego or wallet boost.
Inflatable costume of a small evil man dressed as a baby
We protested the regime, our nation’s slide into authoritarianism, & the fact that we had to get up early on a Saturday to do the first two things. Armed only with handmade cardboard signs, we saw we were not alone: many Americans were willing do something - anything- to have a voice.
And this.
All sorts of wreck and ruin is available at your fingertips!! This will be the next opioid epidemic: maybe not as many dead, but likely many more ruined.
