Lupin and co. enter a feudal Japan full of astonishing costumes and make-up in the new Lupin III: The beautiful azure castle kabuki play.
The Japanese scientist who painstakingly reconstructed 1,200 years of data on peak cherry blossom blooms in Kyoto to show the effects of climate change has passed away; fortunately, another scientist has volunteered to continue his project.
"A highly mutated COVID-19 strain is circulating in CA...
The emergence of the BA.3.2 strain, nicknamed 'Cicada,' comes amid broader uneasiness abt COVID vaccination rates among seniors..."
The timing of its spread "...underscores that COVID has lately morphed into more of a summer disease in CA."
No one goes to a Texas game to experience victory. You go to experience everything else -- the food, the audience's hope, the pain of loss, and the indefatiguable "get back up again" spirit that runs through Houston.
I love this town.
There is a chain of gas stations called Buckey's (not Buc-Ee's -- Buc-Ee's sued them over their name) that had these taquito/eggroll things during breakfast hours heated on hot rollers: cheeseburger, southwest, breakfast sausage, etc. 🤤
A barbeque baked potato at the Texans football game (first discovered at the Houston Rodeo).
But they are very sweet. Each and every one of them. I hope one day they learn to cuddle with each other.

My boys mostly battle over who gets to sleep in between mom and dad. And sometimes they raise their paws at each other! 🙀 (Thankfully, they only rarely use claws.)
And the girls like to try to escape so they can explore. 😩
Penn is definitely loofah shaped! A perfect loofah loaf! A looafah?
And he is so thoughtful when he dries off the bathmat and imparts the family scent over the clean water!
Why are your boys so purrfect and helpful?? 🧡🩶
“Government issued identification documents are necessary to access public life. When they do not accurately reflect a person's sexual identity, the transgender Montanan is prevented, based on their sex, from obtaining the same attributes of public life that a cisgender Montanan may obtain.“
“Raphael said the consequences of a sudden policy shift could be immediate.
'If that were to happen, I will just close, just that simple,’ he said, referring to a potential end to #TPS protections. 'I wouldn’t have time to rehire, and my restaurants would definitely be closed.’”
I keep thinking about this moment. So inspirational.
I am sorry to hear you get these too.
I can only how bad it is. How bad it is on her heart -- HR and BP. How badly the pain must be on her psychological health.
Stool softeners, laxatives, and enemas will not shrink a giant ovarian cysts. Wrong organ, wrong medicine. Anything over 6 x 6 cm is usually surgically removed.
An ovarian cyst the size of a tennis ball. It may start bleeding -- a "chocolate" cyst so named because it oozes old blood which looks like fudge. It could also result in torsion, which could block blood flow to the ovary. It could also pop, which could be super painful.
As @jwashing.bsky.social recently told @austinkocher.com: the term we typically use to describe this sort of thing—"medical neglect"—is a misnomer. This is not medical neglect; this is medical torture.
My article on 1970s feminists, spycops, and if feminist historians can use materials extracted by undercover police officers is out in History Workshop Journal doi.org/10.1093/hwj/...
So I asked one of my old Jessup partners if she wanted to join me on the robot armed conflict treaty contract paper. She is almost done with her llm in international business law, which i have next to no knowledge of.

"Art Sonje Center in Seoul has opened the first large-scale institutional exhibition in Korea dedicated to queer art, presenting an opportunity to encounter practices and perspectives that have long been overlooked in mainstream cultural spaces."
Something about this art captures how cats look at us. With a soft and fuzzy love. #catcanoe #catsky
As someone who lives in an area known for disasters (hurricanes, tornados, freezes that bring the state to a halt, failures of the electrical grid, failures of the water system), this just looks smart and normal.
Do you also have some shelf stable junk food? 🤩 For morale.
