A first for me today… a melanistic (black) pheasant. Wandering alongside the road. Can’t see in this rubbish phone pic, but the feathers are iridescent green/black, and totally stunning. (A rare genetic mutation similar to albinism)

A couple of blue sky shots (taken at blue hour yesterday evening), two arrivals into Manchester Airport. Took me about 30 mins to get into the right position so the moon was behind the ILS track. Cold, but worth it 😍

End of an era today. Jet2 flew out their last 757 - the oldest passenger 757 in the world - down to St Athan, for scrapping. Sad to see this type being retired from U.K. service, but what a stunning backdrop today. #aviation

A retirement flight yesterday, as G-LSAE took off for the very last time on its way to be scrapped after many years of service with Jet2.
