It somehow feels like finally arriving among fellow aliens. Very quickly, a conversation or interaction turns into meaningful, deep revelations or exchange of intellectual complex ideas. Politics, Philosophy, Art and STEM brought together.
idealists maybe (?) but drawn to Action towards alternative Futures. This is the drive that at Lakefront creates a compost of ideas or events that are happening in the space or around it, aiming at extending the ripples of societal innovation across the world.
The landing shock of the first days has passed. And now I can share some impressions: people here are quite big personalities with loads of multidisciplinary experiences and skills (philosophy, Arts & Humanities, STEM, social work; psychology & spirituality -> "inner development for outer change");
The project's aim is to create a community of highly innovative people to question, faciliate & enable emergent strategies for the global #metacrisis humanity and nonhumanity is facing in the present.

One of the biggest issues with the synthetic text extruding machines is that we have well-formed linguistic output with no accountability. Solution: OpenAI should be accountable for everything that comes out of ChatGPT, period. (And likewise for Google with Gemini, etc.)

As artists, we will never ever take the easy path because creating is life in itself. The entire process of creation is meaningful to us.
Writing is a beautiful activity, it is pondering and chosing words that are charged with meaning, ideology, and mythology and in doing so, it is a responsibility and a form of respect towards the very act of communicating and connection as human beings.
I fucking write 1000 times better then AI. I started to intentionally leave errors in my writing as they are signifiers of the fact that what I write is my own craft! (Thread)

I think a lot about what feminism is lately. It seems, it has a miriad of understandings, some of them very shallow. It can also define parts of someone's identity. For me, #feminism is a lifelong question about the hierarchical structures inbuilt in our society. A reflection tool.
