This video has been taken at the intersection of Mokosh Beel (perennial wetland at Kaliakair, Gazipur) and Bongshai river. It strikingly illustrates the level of pollution between the two water bodies. The beel is heavily polluted mostly by untreated texting dye effluent discharged from industries.

Interesting facts about the oviposition sites of Litchi Stink Bug. They usually lay eggs on the dorsal side of the leaves, but also lay eggs on the ventral side. Moreover, some eggs were found on the stem of the litchi tree.

After the emergence, the tiny 1st instar (5𝑚𝑚) nymph of Litchi Stink Bug typically congregate on egg shells for 2-3 days. The 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑏𝑒ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑖𝑜𝑟 is likely to help them with-
