My mum worked in one and used to knit things up for people who couldn’t knit, they would buy the wool tell her what they wanted and she knitted it for them.
My mum used to knit whilst watching the tv but I just couldn’t get the hang of it no matter how hard she tried to teach me. The sound of the needles clicking always reminds me of mum
I tried to knit a dr who scarf in the 70’s and it had more holes than stitches so I love to see a great knitter’s work
My favourite colour and looks really warm
I had 5 inches from mine about 12 weeks ago and nobody except my husband who took me to the hairdresser said anything
