Cody entered and wrestled as a heel all the time in AEW yet insisted he was a babyface his whole run.

The only people in my feed were saying that it was dumb and that Kenny Omega probably wouldn’t care. You might want to curate your feed better.

Cody was never a heel in AEW and said he never wanted to be. The fans eventually treated him like he was a heel but not initially.

Little did we know he was the real glass the whole time.

The AEW fan base is much more like ECW’s heyday of fans than… idk, WWF/WWE fans.

And he’d be the biggest heel on earth for doing it. And if he wanted to be a heel and AEW champion, he could have already done that. Unless AEW has some massive growth and its existing fan base gets so big so fast that the new fans can’t “assimilate,” ain’t nobody wanna see Cody in AEW again.
