I was really looking forward to this - bought it and installed immediately this afternoon only to find you can't remap your movement controls. Insta-refund since I can't actually play it.

Nice. It’s magnetic too so it sits perfectly next to the keyboard 👍

It took 30 years of drudgery and this meme to make me realise this.

Shortbread is my kryptonite. Just seeing a picture of it has me checking what time Asda closes on a Sunday night.

I should add, I use Bazzite for gaming on my PC. It's very polished and very user-friendly (but if something DOES go wrong during installation, good luck!). It frequently outperforms windows in a disturbing number of games on the same PC.

I made the switch last year for work - I got sick of having 3 versions of outlook installed (none of which worked properly), teams continually falling over, invites not going into the diary, endless updates that introduced more bugs than they fixed and of course Co-pilot. It's been great.

I was in a slightly earlier edition that featured my custom water loop. It wasn’t a particularly good loop, I think they just having a quiet month 😸

To be fair, if you've got one of the light-bar thingies with a camera or HDMI passthrough, that reflect the colours on the screen it really adds to the immersion. I have one on my battl... work computer.

Loved the video - I don't think I'll ever get over that sinking feeling I'd get after seeing a game like Commando or Ghost and Goblins for the C16 on the shelves in Smiths, buying it excitedly, rushing home, loading it and... oh dear 💩

I mean... let's not take deporting loud chewers off the table (regardless of ethnicity though). You just know Farage eats like a donkey chewing an apple.

I can't be the only one seeing that and thinking "cobra mk3"?

The beads of sweat is an especially nice touch.

Like the tagline for Allen vs Predator said “whoever wins… we lose”

I really love those but the ones I've seen are a bit spenny... where'd you get that one from?

haha... wait... so Pete means fart? 😂

I'm pretty sure that counts as PE as well - the school should be paying you.

For gaming I installed Bazzite on my PC. It's a little less polished than macOS for obvious reasons but a surprising number of games run noticeably better.

As an experiment I switched my work phone, laptop and smartwatch to apple last year and I hate to admit it but it's been a revelation. Everything works seamlessly, the devices integrate brilliantly and - crucially - things don't randomly stop working or install updates in the middle of meetings.

I don’t care what it costs, I don’t care who I have to kill / sleep with - I MUST HAVE THAT.

To be fair it might have been for services to comedy? Any time I’m feeling a bit down I watch the video of him failing to sing the Welsh national anthem and it perks me right up.

What do you think? I wasn’t mad keen on it (but it was better than doom eternal).

I wish my morning meowdy was that civilised. It usually involves crying, claws in the face, claws in the furniture (knowing it'll get a response so I can't pretend to be asleep), and trampling all over me... followed of course by the cold shoulder after I've fed him, for making him wait.

That reality looks better, stay there!

Proof (if it were needed) that a lie told over and over and over becomes "common knowledge". How did we end up in the worst timeline?

Haby Birtdoy, here's to another year of torturing tired old men just wanting to play Doom in peace.

Urgh I spent 20 years commuting into central Manchester from Trafford every morning on a bus that literally went everywhere else first - absolute nightmare.

Yes he does. Are you even a Doom fan if you don't 3D print your own? 😀

I hate to break it to you but he's two-timing you with... well, everyone else.
