ooohh I felt that point about being surrounded by everyday things!! As I have roommates, I also don’t really have a separate space for tea, so what I’ve noticed is that my mind is much clearer when I’m outside.

As someone who’s usually the guest, I’d say it’s a lot about presence. You’re not focused on doing things “right”. You’re allowing yourself to slow down enough & let go of control, to truly receive what’s being offered, rather than analyzing it.

Volunteered at a small tea festival today 🍵 Got to taste so many teas, meet the kindest people and learn a lot along the way. Grateful to share this with such like-minded people and build connections through tea in my city! Also left with a full goodie bag :D
