Unless that measurement were of, say, the 5 cluster categories that are used to defines one's sex and not a simple measurement of how much of a sex you are as you're trying to define it. As for your description of bimodal distribution, you're using different words to describe what I am.

Tbh I think the issue here is that you don't know what bimodal means or what a bimodal distribution is. Sex is categorized based on a cluster of characteristics, but there is no one thing that makes one a male or female. Being that this is true, sex is distributed along 2 poles that defines sex.
