Also there wasn't a scene of him "half naked with brothel ladies" in svsss anywhere, that's just hearsay from lqg. It's pretty sad to dislike a character based on stuff you're obviously supposed to deduce isn't true in the novel.

I say this very respectfully but she doesn't clarify it because it's clear enough in the original text. You're supposed to deduce very easily from reading svsss that that is not true. She assumes you have the ability to see that clearly from the text.

This isn’t Shen Qingqiu. This is a face from before Shen Qingqiu existed but Liu Qingge knows it all the same, albeit a few years older. “No, you’re Shen Jiu, aren’t you? That’s the name you know?”
