Sometimes I wished I’d gone to grad school so I could make someone read a paper on how Kesha’s music is the distillation of white girl exuberance (which is frankly one of our better traits) and thus perfectly appropriate for a millennial cannonballing straight into the second half of their 30s.

Update: Reached the “acceptance” stage of grief fairly quickly once I conceded that the symbolism doesn’t have to be subtle if you *want* the effect of hitting someone in the face with a sledgehammer (with the point).
