Some immigrants receive Medicaid under limited emergency circumstances. This is legal under current law and only a tiny fraction of Medicaid spending. California provides care to immigrants using state,(not federal) $$. California also provides $83 billion more to the government than it receives.

They will if the nursing homes have to close. Payments don’t go to the patients- they go to the facilities as reimbursement for care. There are hospitals and nursing homes in VA that only survive on Medicaid dollars. Not all of them can survive these cuts.

Illegal aliens don’t get Medicaid. There is no mechanism for them to do so. 60% of nursing home residents are on Medicaid. Should an 80 year old Alzheimer’s patient have to get a job? Stop with the idiocy.
