I found surrounding myself with people who dont mind reaffirming me has really helped. I sorta stay in my own bubble but im lucky I have a good number of friends that understand i have bpd, rsd, and abandonment trauma. And as time has gone on Ive become more trusting of them and myself. *soft hugs*

When ive fucked up or crossed a boundary or broken a limits and give me the chance to make it right or talk about it or to help me realize im not asking for too much when I ask for reaffirmation, and because they dont get upset with me..
Its helped me heal those insecure parts of me.

Unbearable anymore hearing those words without falling to pieces. Honestly anyone that just leaves without explaining or that sinking feeling you get when they pull away.

Those are not the people you wanna be around. You wanna surround yourself with people who trust and love you enough to tell me

Can I ask what you mean when you say resolution? I can relate to the whole compounding pain part. That wave of guilt and shame and terrifying idea of them leaving...but it does get easier. I still get hella anxious if my partner says we need to talk but...shes assured me enough that it doesnt feel

For me, learning to sit with uncomfortable emotions until they pass is still a struggle. It definitely takes time. You can do it though.. it does get easier. Affirming yourself, learning when these feeling hit where they sit in the body...helps in a weird way..
