This is the first time ever that I was aware of a track before learning about it from you, Steve.

Hi John, you played an really amazing track last night but I can't find it on the playlist. It sounded like you said the name of the artist was Sam Bonabon, but I wasn't sure. I can't see anything like this on the playlist. It was a male singer. You played a War On Drugs song not long after.
Beautiful. Was this photo taken today? Looks like heaven to me.
Beautiful photo of a stunning shopfront. Thanks for sharing this, John.
Wow. Adam Buxton sounds exactly like David Byrne. I assumed he was miming, but that really is Adam Buxton singing? I am very impressed.
Just listened to it, Rory. Very interesting, as always. As the presenter Amol Rajan said, lovely to hear from you. Starts just after 1:56

Welcome home, Rory.
Joanna Lumley had said that they decided to soften her character from the way she was portrayed in MOTHERLAND. If I recall correctly she was so hateful towards her daughter that the daughter broke ties with her in that show. They had to adjust her character to make the new show work, I guess.
Just got back from a solo pootle around Brentford, on my bike but mostly walking alongside it. Getting outside and walking around with as few people around as possible, is bliss for me. Merry Christmas to you, Robin.
Merry Christmas to #SophieFromRomania and family.
Hi Moray, I think you are referring to your brilliant show Alone. I was responding to your post about Disordered. Series 1 of Disordered is on BBC Sounds. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...
Thanks for the heads up, Moray. I didn't know about this show.
I read an almost identical post on Facebook yesterday, but that was 'quoting' Barbra Streisand, not Cher. That post seemed fake too, as I couldn't find any other reference to it online.
I really enjoyed reading that. Huge congratulations to Mica Paris and her band.
A very enjoyable and interesting interview with the brilliant Emma Anderson. The album 'Pearlies' is now a classic album in my books. I look forward to your future musical adventures.
Rest in peace. His bass playing on Fools Gold was so legendary that it inspired lots of other musicians and led to lots of other songs being created. He will never be forgotten.
Congrats and best wishes to Rory and everyone in the Movers and Shakers team and to everyone who signed the petition.
Isn't it amazing how they recreated such a ground breaking track? That was a BIG challenge, but they rose to it and did a brilliant job. I'm delighted to hear you like this version too.
This is brilliant! My first exposure to this song was via a Top of The Pops compilation album in 1975, when I was five. I thought it was scary sounding but exciting. Took me many years to learn it was very talented session musicians and not actually Kraftwerk. youtu.be/HCeeW__D_xA?...
Your speech was mind blowing. So powerful. I have watched it more than once, in the years since.
I wonder if Sophie can sense the cemetery is where people are buried. Maybe that's what's making her scared of going in?
It was listed yesterday, as showing episode 8 (!) this Friday, but now even that's missing from the schedule. Looks like it's been pulled altogether! Such a shame. I watched the first three and loved every minute. Lots of discussion on Twitter, so lots of unhappy fans, I imagine. #GrangeHill
I agree. He's lovely. What a kind teacher he is. I was really impressed with how he spoke to his new first years. "Smelly socks!" Plus he sorts out some footy boots for Benny Green. #GrangeHill
I watched this episode this morning. Quite painful to watch the bullying. I noticed the bullying outside the shop, was filmed next to Ealing Common. Pretty sure that shop is long gone. #GrangeHill
Share the last movie you watched.

Congratulations, John. Very well deserved. Your radio show is a source of joy in a mad world. Great music and your warm, friendly voice. Your show introduced me to A Lazarus Soul @alazarussoul.bsky.social. For that alone, I will be forever grateful. Best wishes to you.
Huge congratulations to Rory and the gang. Thoroughly well deserved. You are doing a brilliant job. #Mover&Shakers
How was the Morrissey show, Lesa? I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for sharing this, Steve. I'd not heard of this group before. I am now their newest fan, thanks to you.
I wonder if he usually wrote on graph paper. I read someone observed him watching a film he was asked to score. They said he had a big writing pad that he was writing lots of musical ideas on, while watching the film. They said it was an unusual type of writing pad, but I can't recall the details.
