By the way, Celeste was not a Ludum Dare entry. It released July 2015, and Ludum Dare was in August. Was for a game jam, but not LD.

Mike did not ruin Ludum Dare, that's not what the post is about.

At most it's about how Ludum Dare could have been in a better state, and how it's legacy might come to ruin. A legacy that Mike expressed he wishes to continue.

I got bored the other day and finally took the plunge into playing around with pico8. I started by writing a custom platformer physics system, and the goal evolved to me trying to handle every notoriously difficult feature people run into.

There should be a documentary on the Metaverse. I can't wrap my head around how such a disaster was ever allowed to happen. How did such a big company struggle to copy an indie game like VR Chat?
