A Kaiju starts to question its reality.

Every now and then you paint something silly that just resonates with your soul. This is one of my favorites stupid paintings ever. I love Its blank stare.
Last Saturday I went to a concert! After about 20 years since the last time. And I proved once and for all that you can take an old punk out of the mosh pit, but you can't take away the pain from all of my joints and bones. I'm old!
Here's something silly I've found on my unfinished files.
Lots of my artists friends have quit working with art. And I get it, society hardly ever gives you the chance to do what you love. So far I've been lucky, but I miss seeing my friends' art.
If you're an artist as well I have a quick question for you, for how long have you been doing art? Me, I've been doing it for about 21 years, as something that I'm serious about, but I've been drawing since as long as I can remember.
I need to get back to painting!
Here's a very old painting. I like the idea of giant wurms, probably because of all the cool wurm cards in MTG back when I was a kid. In summary, wurms are cool!
Random book suggestion, The True Believer by Eric Hoffer. Incredible book.
Trapped again in that weird place where I got no painting going on and no idea for one either. I hate not knowing what to paint.
Is that my salami?
Finished! The Food Thief.
I'm happy with this one!
If you invite a vampire into your house, but move out right away after it, what happens? Can it still get inside that house? What about your new house? What if you are renting? Do vampires care if your house gets repossessed? So many questions.
In my experience they will be the brushes you'll use for 90% of your paintings. After that you can explore some other crazy ones that you think look cool.
use it. Any brush can be used to paint anything. A specialized brush can help make the work a little easier, but it will never do the work for you. My advice is, first get comfortable with 2 or 3 brushes...
What brush did you use? Is a question every digital painter have asked and been asked at some point in their life. It's a normal question, any beginner wonder if they're using the wrong tool for the job. But it's only through practice that you learn that what matters is not the tool, but how you...
I don't like hot yoga. It sounds too narcissistic. You know it wanted to call itself sexy yoga, but it got afraid that it would attract some weirdoes. If you have to call yourself hot yoga, then you probably are not all that hot... yoga.
I'm feeling empty right now. I've just finished my freelance work for now and I should be relaxing, but not having something that I need to do is making me feel empty. I might be a little burnt out.
I got nothing to say today. Just one of those empty head days I suppose. I hope you are having a good day!
I love this lighting. I think I really got this one right. Sometimes things just flow the right way, I wouldn't exchange this feeling for anything in the world.
Painting different textures is always lots of fun. The feeling of making something that you can feel in your fingertips just painting. I'm addicted to it.
I love aquatic lifeforms, but I would never trade my terrestrial life. Unlike those traitors, the whales. Terrestrial life forever, baby!
Apparently I'm too dumb to know the difference between left and right. Upper left corner
I always thought that the tentacle on the up right corner looks like it's waving bye-bye to the nasty little guy that kinda looks like it's wearing a flesh backpack like a kid going to school. Bye, have fun!
Happy new year of the Horse!!!
Sometimes you just need to paint something dumb for yourself! I did this one in about 2 hours, I think, a long time ago. You can see the process on my YouTube or Gumroad, just search for bonekrishna.
I still love the overall feeling of this painting. It was a major one for me. I learned a lot painting it. Still much left to be learned though!
Now for this piece I decided to really take my time, so I worked on it for about 6 months. I was in no rush and this was a personal project, so I enjoyed for as long as I could. Good times.
Rocky the rock troll. This was a huge one in terms of feeling like I was in control of the painting, and it only took me more than a decade to get there.
Sometimes a sneeze can be more dangerous than you imagine! Another old piece.
Another one from a long time ago. Look at it go. Wheeee!
Another old painting, 2014 if memory serves me right. It was the first painting that I was really happy with. I still like it!
