Exactly! At least I got to watch the panda having breakfast which you can do if you know where to look.

My granddaughter just interviewed last week. My grandson started making pizza at 14. I don’t get it either. 16 is fine but 14 is too young.
Very nice so far!
Protected bike lane at State and Market Streets San Diego
Are they putting in protected bike lanes on State Street? Anybody know how far up they’re going to go?
I needed one a very specific size (height and width) and it was slim pickins out there. Paid more than I wanted.
The Straight of Hormuz is *clopen*.
We mathy people have a word for that. (Borrowed from a colleague)
19-22° C maybe
That is right by the airport on the bay. Could have sun all day or marine layer (clouds) turning into sun. Hard to tell this far out.

If your conference is in the convention center, I live right nearby. It’s pretty quiet around here even with a big conference going on right now. Weather looks to be typical spring weather. The Padres baseball team will be playing in Mexico City that weekend so no baseball traffic.
If you are coming relatively soon it’s nice here in San Diego right now.
Was not sure if anyone would notice that! Saturday is towels day and, yes, I always hang dry the laundry. It’s free. I am 73 years old but ever since I was 16 I wanted to live somewhere where I didn’t need to own a car or a dryer and here we are finally.
April is the family birthday month so for everything we buy this month we say it’s somebody’s birthday present. But the best gift to the family is the Toto washlet toilet seat.
Thx just changed that
Library book on my lap as I sit outside in the sun reading. THE STORY of NATURE'S TOXINS MOST DELICIOUS POISON "Magisterial, fascinating. and gripping. A tour de force: By Noah WHITEMAN
@nkwhiteman.bsky.social Just started your book and it’s great! Would never have known about it if it weren’t for this site. Thank you.
Mostly its authors I have read before. I check online to see if they have any upcoming new books. Then check library 4-6 weeks before the release date to see if it’s in order. Blue is for books in my calendar!
I usually have book releases on my calendar so I can jump in line early but this one went under my radar.
I am waiting for the physical book. Not sure what the wait is for the ebook. Is that what you are asking?
lol I am number 291 in line for a hold at the library. I will forget why I put it on hold by the time I get this book.
Is it on the radio? I grew up listening to basketball and baseball on the radio with my parents and now I do that for Padres games since I can’t watch them on my MLB app.
Could not love this more.
I remember the first time I went there and I thought oh my God I have finally found my people
Good. It’s my favorite place. Used to go every summer for a month. Now my kid lives there!
Please tell me it is still like this in Portland.

Thank you all for posting about this. I encouraged my daughter to apply last month for our 18 year old grandson and they were randomly selected today! Thank you thank you thank you.
Oh they have cut some even more recently and changed the routes just enough to make my life harder. Of course the ones I notice are the ones I use (929, 992, 12, 120) but I am sure it’s all over the city.
