Added to our Wingspan collection today - Americas Expansion. Have enjoyed adding each expansion over the years to give maximum variety. It really forces you to play and optimize the cards you are dealt.

Depends on the game… short games, party or family crowd who don’t game slot, absolutely.

Long game, would likely be playing with gaming group, so there is more willingness to push through to “check mark” that we tried the game fully.

Either way, it is painful. But the short games hurt less.

Played Feast for Odin once and loved it, so many actions to choose from… ya we really need to get to Agricola.

Awesome game, played only I think once though… base version no add-ons. Definitely due to play again.

Sounds like you have the same problem as me - timed and then rulebooks are our primary barriers to enjoying many of these games.

I really like the bag building mechanic, for whatever reason. Having some control of randomness? Quacks was our first, and Altiplano, then this.
