That feeling when you've mostly finished painting a warband, look at the scheme and go: nah, I need to change this. Smash cut to a week later and my Prussian warband is looking a lot more trenchy than they used to. Just in time for me joining an IRL Trench Crusade campaign.

You know that feeling when you start a model that's supposed to be simple, and then two hours pass and you've ended up with a damascus steel sword. These Prussians are fun, gonna look sweet AF when the whole warband is done.

It's wild, because AI is somehow even worse than cheating. Usually when you cheat, you make your process of playing the game easier or you get to skip a boss you can't get by. AI is the equivalent of starting up the game and then immediately getting the ending credits and claiming you beat the game.

0.2mm and 0.3mm copper wired glued into small holes drilled into the model. Tweak em with plies to make it all jaggedy. Titanium white coat of paint before fluo green and BAM, you got lightning.

Painting a skeleton lightning wizard or something. Imotekh the stormlord, pretty damn fun model to paint.

There's definitely a space somewhere for collapsible cardboard terrain that's easy to transport. I'm not engineer enough to come up with that solution, but it should be doable

Get Trenched! Imagine being hunkered down in a trench after shelling the faithful for days and suddenly you hear goddamn glockenspiel music coming from the other side of no-man's land. Terrifying.

I don't mind it as much because the book makes it very clear, both explicitly and in the mechanics that 'being the avatar' is just not what the game is about. Someone being the avatar would change the game to such a degree that it would be a different game from what they wanted to make l.

Pandora for #InfinityTheGame 's Next Wave starter. She was a bit of an ordeal to figure out in terms of scheme, but I'm super happy with how she turned out.

This should still work as a time saver, though it'll take a bit more effort. Putting these on the spots where you want your bullet holes to be, and then using either a cylinder or a rod shape with the subtract function on the main body to create the depth should do the trick.

I hate to be the one to say it, but the doom that this kind of 'AI' will result in won't even be a cool robot uprising. It'll just be the boring undermining of our shared reality until nothing is real or trustworthy, and everything serves to drain your wallet, followed by economic collapse.
