The only thing funnier than me getting 4hrs of sleep after a concert and still waking up for work is me getting 4hrs of sleep after a concert, still waking up for work, spending 1.5hrs in my car only for the draw bridge to be stuck open, and turning around for wfh instead and starting work late.
If I ever won the lottery, I wouldn’t tell anyone, but there would be signs (single-handedly funding copious amounts of air conditioning in every Seattle music venue).

Lately I’ve been thinking in terms of traffic laws. We all agree to follow signals and lights, and move to the side when emergency vehicles speed by knowing they agree to also not hit us. These days cars not only don’t follow law, but also emergency vehicles run everyone over with no regard. 🫠
