Ending #NaNoWriMo with over 150 pages+46,105 words on a project written in November. The story wants to continue into December, will post when I finish the 1st draft! Thinking it’ll end up being 55-60k. Patting myself on the back for writing every day! #amwriting

That’s awesome. I think it is important to have realistic expectations while trying to stretch the writing time.

I’ve liked switching it up to longer form fiction after writing short stuff for awhile, though I do like both approaches

Sounds like good advice to me! I haven’t done NaNoWriMo before, but have liked the consistent writing it has allowed me

My current write for this month is a dystopian novel. I write kind of all over the map though, but mainly literary with genre elements. Character driven horror, character driven science fiction, etc. I also like to write poetry as well.

Did some more writing last night. I’ve added words to the #NaNoWriMo piece every day this month! The story is going really well overall. I’m now at 38,035 words for the month and story overall. How’s it going for everyone else? #writers

That’s awesome, congrats! That’s very exciting.

Over the last couple years, I’ve definitely found novel writing to be a little different experience for me than short story writing.

I think taking a little break the revisions is a smart idea!
