Hey y'all, quick update! Life has caught up to some of us so we've decided the best course is to take a temporary hiatus and give our group some much needed downtime. After two years of shenanigans we think it'll be good chance to recover as well as give us some time to work more on what's to come!

Did I start an actual play podcast with my friends just as an elaborate way to not have to take notes? No! That would just be wild...if that was the only reason that is.

You can always tell the parents of the group because when it's time to check in for the biweekly session we're out here still trying to figure out what day it is and are in complete disbelief two weeks have passed.

I keep trying to come up with something clever to say but I think today is turning into a burnout day so instead I'm finding my favorite blanket and binge watching warehouse 13

It's kind of a cop out too going all out on graphics. Almost like execs figure as long as it looks pretty it doesn't need any substance in terms of story or content in general. Cheaper for them that way too and then they just hire influencers and move to the next one.

I was telling my wife about a new project idea I had seen on youtube and she gave me the "you promised you would finish some projects before starting a new one" look. Of course I agreed that she's right and wanted to do the responsible thing...so now I just work on it when everyone's asleep.

I am on a similar boat as you. My dad has been preaching Linux to me for years and has converted any of his laptops and computers that were "outdated" over to it and has yet to report an issue. I just didn't want to leave the comfort of Microsoft until I finally realized how crappy it is!

Oof, I will take a jumpy brain over brain fog anyday. Well hopefully it's not one of those friends that lingers longer than they're welcome and may you find the dopamine to get what you'd like done!

It sounds like they just decided to enforce a policy when it was convenient for them. I could see how it might be fuse related or a trip hazard but still that's bunk. Making the space as comfortable and accommodating as possible for patients being treated should always be a priority along with care.

I am so very grateful for this platform, it really feels like there isn't a safe space online anymore for people who don't want to accept artogant ignorance willingly. I'm just grateful for the communities I have.
