This was one of the formative incidents in my young life. And I watched almost an entire city of people across racial lines absolutely lose their minds. It was the equivalent of a lynch mob and the NY press was leading the way.

Almost Half of US Data Centers That Were Supposed to Open This Year Slated to Be Canceled or Delayed The vast majority of data centers scheduled for completion over the next few years have yet to even break ground.

These data centers are delayed because of supply chain problems w/ chips that AI has caused & I wager most of them will never get built because political opposition will kill then before they break ground. Closest thing to poetic justice since Janet Jackson was rocking those box braids.

Justin Fairfax Was A Coward I believed Vanessa Tyson.

Justin Fairfax wanted to be remembered as a rising star. A trailblazer. The second Black man elected statewide in Virginia. He wanted the Emmett Till comparison to stick.

It will not. I will not let it, and neither should you.

I’m sure I don’t need to say how crucial it is to keep this family housed. Together we can do this.

Textbook Critique — Erasing the Black Freedom Struggle

"The truth of history may be utterly distorted and contradicted and changed to any convenient fairy tale... one cannot study Reconstruction without first frankly facing the facts of universal lying.” - W.E.B. DuBois.

Critical Atlantic current significantly more likely to collapse than thought Scientists say finding is ‘very concerning’ as collapse would be catastrophic for Europe, Africa and the Americas

The collapse of the gulf stream will be catastrophic for the entire planet. The crisis in the earth's circulation system continues to be ignored while politicians promote massive oil/gas expansion.

I am wondering if @mayor.nyc.gov is aware that today is #NationalLibrarianDay. A good way to uplift librarians in NYC and all library workers is to pay them more. Stick to your campaign promise and this will be a good start.

Happy DC Emancipation Day!

Today, we honor the anniversary of the abolition of slavery in the District and the liberation of more than 3,000 enslaved people.

We also reflect on the ongoing work to build a DC where freedom is fully realized—through equity, opportunity, and dignity for all.

If you paid even a penny in federal income tax last year, you paid more than:

Tesla
Southwest
Disney
Live Nation
HP
United
PayPal
CVS Health
Palantir
Citigroup
PG&E
3M

That's right. They paid $0 in federal income tax.

It's time for big corporations to pay their fair share.
