SCOOP— Trump wants a 24k gold coin w/ his face on it for America 250, but an official at a late February coin advisory committee meeting called it something only done by "nations ruled by kings or dictators." After NYT reported the criticism, US Mint yanked online vid of the meeting w/o explanation.

I love lilypond. It has a steep learning curve and there are many aspects that I would like to work differently. But the resulting documents I have found to be so beautiful (not least because of how nice the font looks) and even years ago it had many features other software still don’t have.

This has been my winter of woodpeckers. Just this morning I’ve seen a Pileated, Red-Bellied, Downy, Hairy, Northern Flicker, and a Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker. I wish the Red-Headed Woodpeckers were around too.
